The main restaurant, Aphrodite, is decorated like a Greek temple with columns and stone-painted murals. Three meals are served here and they can be taken on its terrace, under a pergola overgrown with vines. The buffet itself is a little disappointing, the inevitable salad bar serves many dressings made with the local olive oil, but the hot dishes and desserts lack refinement, even the local baklavas aren't the best we tasted. There is, however, a choice of twelve different hot dishes every day, so it is more than possible to find something that you like. Yet, if you really want to find a treat you should go to the three themed restaurants:
at the Al Capone and Anjin San, the chefs have come directly from Italy and China. Both these restaurants have a capacity of under 100, which lends them an intimate atmosphere.
The real highlight, though, is the Greek tavern, right by the seafront. The tables and chairs are draped with white fabric and here you can enjoy the famous Cretan diet. With the all-inclusive option, you may have a meal per week in each of the a la carte restaurants, upon reservation. Note that every Wednesday, a barbecue is organized along with Greek folk dances. It is also possible to get light meals, coffee and cakes at the snack bar by the pool.
