The hotel opened in 1996 and has undergone several refurbishments. The Arabella Beach Resort is definitely not brand new, but it does remain a very well kept establishment. The hotel is neither too big nor too small, and, a rare asset, it is not overcrowded. It's quieter than most hotels but retains a friendly atmosphere. There is also a small entertainment team. However, it is the setting that is the main attraction! This is what makes this establishment stand out among the other hotels in the Hurghada resort. It has Nubian-style architecture, with little white dome-shaped bungalows. They feature little arcades and stairways that lead up to the rooms. In short, the setting is harmonious and adds a lot of elegance to the complex. The atmosphere is both friendly and relaxed. This is an ideal establishment if you feel like relaxing in lush gardens among palm trees. You will feel wonderfully well in such exotic surroundings. There are two large restaurants (one of which serves Italian specialties) and three bars. There are also two swimming pools, the smaller of which is heated. A theme night is organised every evening. During the day, there are several activities on offer, including water sports: there is a fitness centre (one room with a couple of machines) and a volleyball pitch next to the beach. You can also try your hand at windsurfing, catamaran sailing or scuba-diving, among others. Close to a coral reef and a marina, the beach is not ideal for swimming, which is a real pity. Sadly too, only the smaller of the two swimming pools is heated. The other one is naturally quite warm from April to October (higher temperatures). Finally, the guest rooms are particularly welcoming and they are tastefully decorated. They are in fact one of the hotel's best assets. The quiet and friendly atmosphere and the reasonably-sized facilities are ideal for those who want to relax, partake in the odd sporting activity, or discover the treasures hidden beneath the sea.
