The Anantara resort and spa is a splendid hotel for lovers of calm and luxury. Its spa is no doubt the most beautiful in Koh Samui.
7 minutes from the airport, the hotel is also 15 minutes from Chaweng and half an hour from Nathon.
The 106 rooms are divided in 92 deluxe, 6 royal suites and 18 anantara suites. Spacious, bright and well soundproofed, the deluxe rooms (the standard) offer a very good comfort. The beautiful bedding, well presented, is arranged on a platform; the furniture blends very well with the fancy decoration. Welcoming and zen, it constitutes a nice living space. Well equipped, they have satellite TV with DVD player (free of charge at the reception), alarm, telephone, minibar, safe, slippers and flip-flops. A fruit bowl and fish in vases are waiting for you... Likewise, the bathrooms are clean, spacious and fancy, and offer numerous welcome products, a beautiful marble bathtub, a hairdryer and bathrobes.
Opened in 2004, the majestic reception is preciously furnished in an excellent melange of rustic and modern. Plain style and warmth blend everywhere: in the restaurants, in the lobby and in the business centre, the enviroment definitely favours well-being. Passed the first block which includes the reception and the restaurants, you will be in a large indoor patio full of vegetation around which you can find the buildings of the rooms. Although their architecture is common, it creates a beautiful complex.
The Thai restaurant offers a varied buffet breakfast from 6:30 am to 10:30 am and a dinner of local specialities a la carte. The Italian restaurant offers a beautiful Italian menu for lunch and dinner. One indoor bar and one bar by the swimming pool offer a snack menu all day. The eating areas are very well decorated: you will sit on swing seats or proper armchairs around beautiful round well-set solid wood tables.
A beautiful and not very large sand beach is opposite the hotel. Swimming is magical and the water is turquoise blue. Towels, beach chairs and beach umbrellas are available free of charge.
The Anantara spa is extraordinary. The decoration there is marvellous and the private villas benefit from an indisputable calm. 8 rooms are adjoining through a balcony. Every Friday a Thai buffet will be offered and local folk dances will animate the evening.

The Samui Palm beach resort is a large property bordering the sea. It offers a certain comfort in a rather classic setting.
Open since 2001, the Impiana is a nice small hotel but is highly lacking in facilities as it has 98 rooms available. The hotel is located on the shores of Chaweng Noi Beach. You will need to travel for two miles to reach the centre of Chaweng. The hotel is comfortable and constructed parallel to the beach.
The Tongsai Bay Cottages follows its own rhythm. Enjoying a more remote location than the complexes at Chaweng Beach, this hotel thrives in its surroundings. Here, life takes on the relaxing and tranquil pace guests usually look for when on holiday and the complex has all the facilities you could need: spa, pool, beach, table tennis, and a relaxation area. It's true that this isn't a luxury resort, but it still holds a few secrets. In this complex, couples, families, and groups of friends all fit in in their own way. The establishment especially attracts a Japanese and Korean clientele.
Open from 1st February 2007, the Four Seasons Koh Samui is worth the reputation of the hotel chain with the same name. Isolated on the top of a hill, the establishment is far from civilisation. The setting is splendid and the impressive view is on the Gulf of Thailand. Delicacy and elegance are the keywords of the place. To taste with delight!
Entirely away from the crowd, on the west coast of Samui, the Royal Meridien Baan Taling Ngam is a very exclusive place in a magnificent environment. As costly as it is charming.
The Zazen Bungalows is a small charming hotel touching the water. It benefits from a very nice setting, undeniable comfort in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

The high standard at Chaweng Beach: one the most frequented beaches in Samui, the sophisticated hotel business of the Central Samui Beach Resort, supported by a very complete equipment, almost manages to make you forget the crowd around you...
The sign at the entrance sets the tone, with the following written in black and white: "Member of the Design Hotels". This statement would hardly be noticed in Berlin or in the trendy districts of London, but when you read this sign wearing flip-flops, with a gaudy shoulder bag, right in the heart of touristic Thailand between Chaweng Beach and Koh Samui, it takes on a whole new dimension. Why? First, because design is very uncommon in this region that is distinguished by its Oriental Zen style, at least in the hotels. Second, because those who feel comfortable surrounded by clean lines, solid colours, and a full complement of modern technology, will have found the establishment of their dreams here. In addition, this hotel has a number of surprises. Here's a clue: red.
Quite isolated from the crowds of the northeastern coast of Samui, the Imperial Boat House displays the complete recent renovation of its set of amenities, as well as perfect originality: it offers the possibility to live in a ship, a real one.
