Already from its exterior, you can see that the Kapetanios doesn't offer many surprises, it presents itself as it really is: a small and unpretentious 3 star city hotel (local standards) built in the 1980's that hasn't changed much since it was built. The lobby is a little outdated, although fairly pleasant, clean, and rather bright. It is host to a television room and a bar, as well as a large and beautiful bas-relief representing Athena, the goddess of war and wisdom, projecting over the room. There is another bar next to the rather spacious pool, which, even though it is concealed behind a hedge, does lie alongside a small street. There is very little traffic in the area, but it still isn't very nice to swim among exhaust fumes and the smells of litter. The fitness centre is located in the hotel basement and includes an indoor pool accessible for free, a gym, a sauna, and treatment rooms dedicated to massages. On the ground floor, the conference room can accommodate about 50 guests.
