The facilities at the hotel are impressive, and whilst it is entirely geared towards a business clientele during the week, offering a range of business-oriented services, it still has all the appeal of a tourist hotel as well. The tone is set as soon as you step foot in the lobby, from the latest in design and the designer furniture to the ultra-contemporary fireplace, all in immaculate shades of white. It was certainly a difficult challenge, but one which was met with verve: the owners managed to create a colourless setting but without resorting to cold or sterile-looking decor.
Those who come here looking for the ultimate in relaxation will be delighted with the hotel's spa, which is divided into two parts. The first one consists of a large indoor pool with waterfalls at each end where swimmers can enjoy an invigorating massage. Pleasant coloured lighting takes over when the sun sets, in accordance with the luminotherapy principles at play here. There is a small patio where guests can enjoy some refreshments before moving through to the second part of the spa, where you'll find two jacuzzis, a hammam, a sauna, an ice fountain, and an outdoor jacuzzi. Both areas are furnished with comfortable deck chairs and you won't need to worry about towels as these are readily available at the spa. The spa's receptionist will inform you of the various treatments on offer on arrival, including vinotherapy, a chocolate-based treatment, reflexology, shiatsu... You'll have everything you need to truly relax and forget the meaning of the word 'stress'! If you'd like to complement your spa session with a spot of sport, there is also a well-equipped gym and a pilates room on site.
If you don't fancy the hustle and bustle of Lleida in the evening but you'd still like to enjoy a drink or two, the hotel's lounge-bar, the Apple Bar, is a good option.
If you find it hard to live without the Internet you'll be pleased to know that Wifi is available in the guest rooms, and if you've left your laptop at home you can use one of the computers in the Apple Bar or at the business centre.
The elegance of the gardens surrounding the hotel is also worth special mention, particularly as they feature a series of jogging tracks that allow you to explore them while jogging or on a stroll! If you're travelling as a family, do remember that the spa is an adult-only area and that children must be accompanied by a parent if they wish to use the pool, although the games room has plenty to keep them occupied.
