One thing for sure is that you certainly won't be short of space in your 72m² apartment! A long corridor opens out into a huge lounge area with tiled flooring and paintings adorning the walls, furnished with a rectangular wooden table, four chairs, a sofa-bed, a wooden coffee table on a lovely rug, a wooden desk and a satellite television broadcasting 8 channels.
The kitchens have a whole room to themselves and come with a breakfast bar, a sink, four electric hobs, crockery, cutlery, eggcups, a kettle, a toaster, a coffee pot and a fridge-freezer, so you'll have no trouble rustling up little bites to eat! The bedrooms, meanwhile, are rather small in comparison to the lounge area and the apartment itself and are furnished with two single beds, a wooden desk and a large mirrored wardrobe. Out on the terrace, you'll find a round white plastic table, four chairs and a clothes line, whilst the bathrooms are fitted with a bathtub, complete with flexible showerhead, a toilet, a bidet, two bars of soap and a small selection of hospitality products. What you won't find here, though, are a hair-dryer, air-conditioning, a fan, room service or internet access. You can store your valuables in the key-operated safe provided, but there is a charge of £13 a week to hire it.

The Los Alisios ('The Tradewinds') belongs to Canarian hotel group Coral Hotels and is part of the Club Olé collection in the Fram brochure. It opened its doors in 1988 and has a total of 146 spacious 72m² apartments located in three U-shaped ochre-coloured buildings designed in the local style (particularly the Canarian wooden balconies) and surrounding the dolphin-shaped swimming pool. There are two lifts in each block.
The 1.65m-deep pool is open from 9:00am to 8:00pm and is surrounded by cushioned white plastic deckchairs (available to hire for around £1.30 a day), parasols and a shower. Bear in mind that towels are not provided, and the surroundings here are pretty peaceful as the noise of the entertainment, water polo, aquagym, etc. is kept to a minimum. There is a separate 0.6m-deep children's pool and also a snack-bar, open from 8:00am to 10:30pm. There's certainly no shortage of greenery here, either, with lawned areas, flowers and palm trees providing a welcome natural touch.

Even though the majority of guests prefer to prepare their own meals in the kitchen in their room with ingredients bought at the poolside mini-market, the Los Alisios does have a buffet restaurant which can accommodate up to 250 people, including the terrace. Barbecues and Canarian, Italian and Oriental theme nights with show-cooking demonstrations are organised here from time to time. Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 10:0am, lunch from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and dinner from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and whilst the cuisine here is nothing special it is, nevertheless, perfectly acceptable. If you get peckish during the day you could always grab a quick bite to eat from the poolside snack-bar.

The Los Alisios offers apartment-style accommodation with a kitchen in every unit. There is even a mini-market alongside the pool where you can pick up a few essentials. This is by no means a resort but it does, nevertheless, have a buffet restaurant and plenty of sports facilities, including a multi-purpose pitch, a beach-volleyball court, two tennis courts and three petanque areas. This hotel is not particularly suitable for those with reduced mobility. There is a conference room here which can accommodate up to 50 people. If you're worried your return baggage may be a touch over the limit, you'll find a set of luggage scales you can use in the lobby. The beach is over half a mile away but you can take the shuttle bus for around 87 pence.
