Built in 1886, the Old Winter was renovated for the last time in 1995. It is a great palace built at the end of the last century in the English colonial style. A modest, huge and smooth façade which sprawls over three storeys. In its centre, a grand staircase leads to the entrance. We noted especially the stylishness of the common areas, the restaurants, the English bar, the reception room, reading area, the billiards... that preserve their old furniture. However, the renovation of the rooms has not always produced good results. This overhaul produced impeccable cleanliness but the materials chosen for the rooms (carpets and fabrics used for canopies, curtains and bedspreads with shimmering colours) lacks "authenticity". The gourmet restaurant, "1886", with its crystal chandeliers and its small individual tables (Marie Antoinette style chairs) has kept its cosy and chic appearance. The Royal bar, a red velvet lounge for intimate evenings around the fireplace is an attractive place to relax where you may enjoy a late drink. A game room with a pool table is decorated in the same colonial style. The great square lobby is very elegant and lit. There is also a salon in Victorian style for tea. These proportions are excessive, its walls covered with master paintings. Those who seek privacy would prefer the terrace and the garden, a real arboretum. A friendly space for hookah has been installed. At the and of the park, the swimming pool offers its 10,760 feet² of freshness in the shade of millennium trees. It has a small pool for children.
