Built in 2005, Julian Forest is a relatively new hotel consisting of a single cream building with exposed-stone exteriors and forest green wrought iron balconies. Being the last hotel on the edge of Icmeler, guests can feel like they are deep in the pine forest as the pine forests and mountains are only metres away, making for great views. While it is a relatively small hotel, there is still a good range of facilities. Guests enter the hotel by stepping into a bright lobby with impossibly high ceilings. An Internet corner with brand new computers is set to one side. From Reception, guests step straight out on to the pool deck where there are two pools (one with waterslides) and a kids' pool. The waterslides are supervised, while some staff members even have a lifeguard accreditation. The main pool is rectangular-shaped and lined with wooden sun loungers laid with cream mattresses. Not everyone will appreciate the loud music booming from the speakers though.
Kids will enjoy the brightly decorated mini club; open six days a week there's an activities room, outdoor play area, as well as a mini disco and kids' menus at meal times. However, there are different time slots for different ages. Ping pong is free on the upper pool deck (adjacent to the pool bar) while the table football game and billiards cost extra. "Soft animation" (games and activities) take place all day long. There is also a small stage at the far end of the restaurant for evening entertainment.
For the adults, there is a very pleasant health and wellbeing facility with Turkish bath (beautiful tile decoration), massage rooms, sauna, relaxation room and a facial/manicure/pedicure treatment area. There is no fitness centre on-site.
