The first thing people notice when they arrive at the Club Punta Prima is the amount of available space. You can look around at the buildings without meeting any visual obstacles. The various common areas are divided up into small buildings, and these are scattered about in a sort of English-style park made up of wide green lawns. Although the large capacity of this holiday village is obvious (approximately 1,200 guests in all!), you don't get the feeling of being crowded, except maybe by the pool-side.
The estate stretches out lengthwise on a decisively hilly spot. The second pool is at the top of the hill. It is square-shaped and reserved for adults to swim in (and too deep to walk in), which is definitely a good thing when the main pool is overrun by children. Moreover, the panoramic location of the second pool gives guests a splendid view of the sea and Punta Prima. Next to it, the outdoor bar serves light meals such as salads and hamburgers, etc.
The children's club takes up a large area of the village. It must be said again that this hotel is perfectly adapted to take care of children and their entertainment. The mini-club is divided into 4 parts, depending on age, and all of the activities are organized around small colourful houses surrounded by facilities such as swings and slides.
The Spa and the information desk are also to be found on the higher part of the estate. A private company runs the spa, which is equipped with an indoor pool, and above all, a delightful jacuzzi room. Circular, it is found in the upper part of the small building. Three hydromassage pools face the sea, offering a breathtaking view of Punta Prima! Among the choices are hot water, cold water, and rose petals treatments...
The massive main pool stretches out on the lower part of the estate. Consisting of two levels (but considering the size of it, it could be regarded as two pools) with a small waterfall, there are areas where the water level is low, and even very low, for children and toddlers. With its splendid view of the sea, the pool is the preferred spot of families, where a lot of diving and swimming behind the waterfall takes place - it is more like a large aquatic playground! Here again, a bar serves snacks by the poolside.
We did appreciate the circular spa area, with numerous deckchairs in an atmosphere drenched in sunshine.
