    Overview 8.45 /10

Built in 1996 by French designers, the Byblos Andaluz hotel has the same charm as old local residence. It combines with taste Andalousian, rustic, Moorish and Greco-Roman style. Its original design is illustrated by a succession of small patios, planted by palm trees and banana trees, and fine decorated living-rooms, like the Granada living-room dedicated for rest and reading. You will find lots of other relaxation spaces like the St. Tropez bar, where you can have a drink or smoke a cigar (you will be offered a selection) on piano music. Two nice other living-rooms are located near by: the Andalousian living-room and the oriental living-room. As for the exterior, the hotel offers two large pools of 5,380 and 3,765 feet² located in quiet and pleasant places. The solariums, some of them preside over the golf course, are equipped with free beach chairs, mattresses and sunshades. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the bar patio, located aside from the main pool, as well as from the summer bar. The Byblos Andaluz hotel also offers a nice thalassatherapy centre, Louison Bobet, equipped mainly with an indoor sea water pool (645 feet²) and a beauty salon. A small separate house hosts a fitness room, accessible 24h/7 with the key of your room. At last, the hotel offers 3 tennis clay courts and 2 quick courts.

    Food and drink 7.95 /10

The hotel offers three restaurants. ''La Fuente'' is open for breakfast and lunch. The meals are served buffet style offering a nice variety of local and international specialities. The decoration is refined with big girders on the ceiling, old chairs and roses on the tables. For those on a diet, a dietary menu with low calories is served. The restaurant offers a patio located in front of the two pools. ''El Andaluz'' is an Andalousian style restaurant, its indoor Sevillan patio is a good example. Open in the evening, you can choose between the specialities of the day and the menu. About 35 euros for a full dinner (not including the drinks) that is 30 pounds sterling. Half-board guests will be offered a menu. ''The Nailhac'' is a gastronomic restaurant open for dinner. The French chief offers a beutiful menu composed by refined and original dishes like a hot sea urchin cream soup and the seaborne iodine cream or a great turbot with steamed black raisins and red bean cake with cinnamon flavours. About 40 euros for an entrée and a dish (32 pounds). The wine menu is good with a large selection of Spanish wines (all the regions are represented) and a selection of French wines. If you miss the restaurants opening time, be aware that a room-service allows you to eat in your room 24h/7.
