Just going by the façade of the Residencial Beleza, you may well wonder if you have come to the wrong place, but in reality this little guest house, which opened in 2007, is pleasant and bright inside, and could not be more different from the drab, faded external appearance. It is a basic but strangely attractive place, and you'll soon feel at home in spite of the fairly small entrance and reception area. To the right you'll find the aforementioned Internet cafe, which is reasonably-priced and means you do not need to leave the establishment to make a phone call or check your Facebook account at a fair price! The Internet cafe is the main pulling point of the Residencial Beleza, and the rather subdued decor does nothing to counter this. The rooms and the restaurant are reached via a staircase, meaning that this establishment cannot be recommended to older visitors - unless they are very sprightly. After climbing a few steps and scaling a wall (only joking!), you reach the twenty-or-so guest rooms, all of which have been carefully cleaned and are fresh and bright, offering splendid views out across the countryside. The restaurant, surprise, surprise, is on the top floor! Once you get up there, though, enjoying your breakfast overlooking the desert-like mountains, you'll soon remember what a pleasant place this is, and quickly forget the stairs; after all, at the end of the day, you have them to thank for the fine views unfolding in front of you.
