The Mamaison Pokrovska has no less than seven room categories, all of which are extremely stylish and designer. The corridors leading to the rooms are nicely fragranced. Fitted with parquet flooring, all the rooms are equipped with a desk, a king-sized bed, a sofa and a coffee table. They are very spacious (452 sq ft) and their amenities include very quiet individual air-conditioning, a free electronic safe with a code, a large, flat-screen satellite television showing 25 channels (and framed in gold as if it were a painting), a fridge minibar with tea and coffee-making facilities, a mobile phone and free WiFi broadband internet access (a keyboard is provided, enabling you to surf on the web via the television). Room-service is available 24-7. As for the (stylish) bathrooms, they open out onto the bedrooms thanks to a glass sliding door and they are equipped with a flexible shower head (no bathtub), a hair-dryer, tissues, a magnifying mirror, dressing-gowns and slippers and Essenza di Zegna hospitality products. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The upper room categories include a lounge area, a bathtub, a kitchen area and sometimes a whirlpool bath, but the most impressive suite is the 'Chairman suite', which is accessible via a private lift. Approximately 2,300 sq ft wide, it affords a superb view of Moscow and of two of the seven Stalinist skyscrapers, which are symbols of the city. The 'Chairman suite' also has a bookshelf, a four-poster bed, a four-seater bathtub, a large black horse which serves as a lamp and, the cherry on the cake if you love music - a superb, perfectly tuned grand piano!
