The hotel is at 5 minutes walk from downtown Nafplion, 105 miles from Athens and 25 miles from the theatre of Epidaurus.

All of Rex's 42 rooms are spacious and friendly. Clean and comfortable, they are decorated with fitted carpeting and have wooden furniture, a closet, a desk, night tables and a mirror. Each room has a TV (satellite), a mini-bar, a telephone and air conditioning. The bathrooms are tiled and clean, but not very large. They have a shower, personal skin care products and a hair dryer.

The hotel has common architecture and consists of 42 rooms and 3 suites. The reception, all in marble, is rather spacious and welcoming. The hotel was built some 30 years ago and was renovated in 2004. The decor in the living spaces is a little old-fashioned, but the hotel is unquestionably clean and comfortable.
Food and drink 7.20 /10
The large hall of the restaurant is located right next to the reception, on the ground floor. The open buffet-style breakfast is served between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.. Only groups can eat lunch at the restaurant The hotel operates as a bed and breakfast.
Beach
There is no beach in Nafplion. The nearest beach is that in Arvanita, 1.5 miles away, and in Carathona, 3 miles away.
To know
The hotel is not in an ideal location in the city. The new town of Nafplion has none of the charm of the old city. But it was recently renovated and does offer a certain level of comfort.
