The cabins have nothing in common with what one usually finds on the Nile: There are 49 deluxe cabins (12 of which have a double bed), 1 royal suite and 9 presidential suites. The least one can say is that the Sonesta Saint Georges sets very high standards. All cabins include a plasma-screen TV, coffee and tea making facilities, slippers and bathrobes with the name of the boat embroidered on them. The first category of cabin, which one would normally compare with standard cabins, offers pure satisfaction and optimal comfort. Even the entrance has a door bell and two lights, which passengers use to indicate whether they wish to be disturbed or not, or if they want their cabin cleaned. Truly incredible.
Once inside, there are more surprises awaiting passengers. Particularly spacious and fitted with a parquet floor, the cabins stand out for the lighting and comfort they provide. The interior is tasteful and the style is pleasant and classical. As far as cleanliness is concerned, everything is impeccable. It is hard to top this. As for furniture, most of the deluxe cabins include two single beds (only 12 have a large double bed). The cotton bedding is of good quality, the majestic headboard is decorated with a nice fresco, the furniture is made of wood and there are white double curtains. The bathroom is equally surprising. It includes a bathtub with a shower, massage jets, and a wooden sink that matches the floor. It is spacious and clean and provides welcome toiletries and towels.
The room also has a mini bar and a safe.
