The hotel's lobby doesn't give any hint to how large the resort is, so you may be surprised when you emerge from the other side to spacious grounds dotted with neat flower beds. From almost any corner of the resort you have a great view of the forest but also the nearby mountains which are quite impressive. The absence of neighbouring buildings makes you feel like you're lost in the forest, even if in reality you're two minutes from the village.
Accommodation is contained in two storey buildings with pale green façades finished off with wrought iron balconies furnished with bright orange chairs. At the heart of the resort is a large, free-form pool fringed with palm trees, and other facilities such as a mini amphitheatre, spa centre, mini market and snack bar. The fun and friendly animation team creates a great ambiance by involving everybody during the daily activities.
Where the resort meets the forest guests will find a tennis court, volleyball court, table tennis, table football and an outdoor fitness area. There is also an indoor fitness area (a traditional gym) but it was not well-maintained and needs to be updated and tidied up. A few steps away there is a great little kids' club with an activity room and small outdoor playground. Actually in the midst of the forest are several hammocks suspended between the pines - this is a tranquil spot to escape the poolside animation.
Meanwhile the health and wellbeing facilities comprise a basic spa with Turkish bath, sauna, hairdresser and three massage rooms.
