This hotel is a great choice because of its leisure facilities: lawn areas, a good-sized swimming pool, small golden sandy beach (rare in Paphos). This hotel is recommended for a week's stay with a foot in the water.
On the waterfront, 2 miles away from Paphos and 9 miles away from the airport ( about 20 minutes drive).
There are 182 accommodations altogether, spread out in single, double and triple rooms. With a size of 25 mē in the double rooms, the rooms all have balconies ( frontal or lateral view of the sea for most of them), light wood and rattan furniture and marble. Different watercolor figurative paintings on the light walls brighten up the whole setting without creating the feeling of overload. As for facilities, you will find air-conditioning, TV, a mini-bar, a telephone and a bathroom with bathtub, hair-dryer, bathrobes and welcome products with the name of the hotel.
Renovated in 2004, the Venus Beach is located in a contemporary 5 storey building, where the decoration and the architecture are simple. A large contemporary lobby with a bay window in the background, extends to a sundeck overlooking the sea. Outside, the swimming pool is located in the middle of the gardens. Measuring 25 m long by 20 m wide, it offers enough space to swim. A small pool reserved for kids is located nearby on the sundeck that is one of the relaxing spaces of the hotel. Deckchairs, mattresses and sunshades are available: towels are graciously provided at the kiosk. Good point for off-season periods: the covered swimming pool of 50 mē that overlooks a patio.
The breakfast room is located down below the reception, in an atrium offering a patio shaded by a wooden pergola. Full buffet, with hot and cold dishes. At noon, the restaurant facing the sea with a rustic outside setting and Vichy fabric tableclothes serves a simple menu ( hamburgers, sandwiches, chicken, salads). Dinner is served in a room overlooking the swimming pool. The varied buffet offers a notable cheese board, pastries and fresh fruits in addition to the usual dishes.
The biggest advantage of the beach is not the sandy cove ( rather small) but the beautiful lawn areas and the terraces that overlook it. They are planted with palm trees and fitted out with deckchairs, mattresses and canvas sunshades. There is enough leisure space available, without being squeezed together, and the view of the sea is simply gorgeous. Down below, you will find a cove with golden sand, 50 m by 10 m. The water is clear and of a beautiful sky-blue color.
The Venus Beach is located right beside the archeological site Tombs of the Kings. An ideal location if you want to discover the cultural life in the area, with no need to rent a car. However, there is no nightlife around here ( bars, restaurants). During the day, different urban buses pass by the front of the building at regular periods of time. In the evening, the best option to dicover Paphos, except for a car, is the taxi.

The Dionysos is a small hotel similar to a family pension located in the heart of Paphos port. This place will satisfy those seeking a simple and smaller hotel complex offering more privacy and a good level of comfort.
Here you have a modern hotel, but with a family clientele - an establishment where you can choose accommodations according to the size you require - (there are so many different types); the rooms of this seaside hotel do not all have a balcony. The Almyra hotel is unclassified; you should try it to get an idea of what that really means.
It is not the best hotel of this class in Paphos, but its location on the sea and near downtown allows you to walk around in high season enjoying the legendary Cypriot sun, without any concern for transportation once you are in the area.
A place recommended mainly for families. Don't hesitate to come here even off-season, because the hotel offers a covered pool as well as other leisure facilities. In return, there is no beach in front of the hotel, the coast being rocky.
Apart from its excellent location, close to the lively town centre of Paphos, the area's main cultural and archaeological sites, and a variety of shops, it has to be said that the Avlida has little appeal, despite the 4 star rating it so proudly displays at the entrance to its car park. The building itself is soulless, the guest rooms outdated, and some of the facilities have certainly seen better days. Realistically, the only redeeming feature is the pleasant welcome you'll receive.
The Pafian Sun Holiday Village is a lovely place for a holiday. Designed as a small Mediterranean village with soft-lined facades and terracotta roof tiles, it offers small but remarkably well equipped apartments, with all the necessary amenities and services. Children are welcome and everybody here is greeted in a most friendly way. We would not recommend it to sea-bathing aficionados however, who risk twisting an ankle on their way to the beach alone.
The St George Gardens is the family version of its next door neighbour, the slightly smarter St George Hotel. It provides children and their parents with an adapted establishment that skillfully blends relaxation and leisure. With the all-inclusive formula you won't have to take out your wallet once you're here. All of the rooms include a kitchen area and some of the facilities of the St George hotel, such as the Sen Spa, are open to guests of the Gardens.
A warm welcome, impeccable service, entertainment and amusement, good cuisine, varied activities, and a prime location by the sea: such are the offerings of the St George Hotel, arguably one of the best 4 star establishments in the region. It's the perfect place for golfers, with the superb courses of Minthis Hills and Secret valley 11 mi and 17 mi away respectively. If you're not so keen on golfing, you can always enjoy a nice drink on the terrace or indulge in a divine massage at the Sen Spa.
Relaxing vacations under the sign of the luxury. The Paphos Amathus Beach has numerous advantages for a fully enjoyable outdoor vacation. With its various spaces, this five-star hotel is both recommended for families and couples.
This vacation hotel offers a full set of facilities. A nice and refined decoration, good comfort, or a good choice of restaurant or leisure activities. No animation: it's even better! The clients come here mainly for the peaceful atmosphere. This is possible also because there are not too many kids.

Located in a sandy coast - which doesn't happen very often in Paphos - the Coral Beach has comfortable accommodations, elegant dining and various activities to prevent boredom.
The Alexander the Great Beach Hotel stands on the coast in Paphos and belongs to the Kanika hotel group, owner to several other hotels in Cyprus: Limassol and Ayia Napa in particular. It is 'reasonably' luxurious, blending together traditional Greek art and a more contemporary style, which caters for all age groups, especially since it was entirely renovated in 2010. Children are also welcome here, the hotel even having a leisure club available just for them.
