Given the classic subdued style of the hotel's common areas, you might expect the rooms to be fairly sensibly decorated as well. This however is not the case, they are more surprising than they seem: all are decorated with beautiful tapestries stretched on the walls as bed heads and above the desk opposite. All in all, the hotel is adorned with twenty different types of fabric, creating many different ambiences and decors inspiring sweet dreams. Some of these decorative tapestries are truly original. One room is decorated with a flowery landscape that looks not unlike a medieval tapestry, and another is adorned with oriental motifs. Africa provides the inspiration in another of the rooms, and the walls of yet another are covered entirely in musical scores... The decorative details have not been neglected either, with small brass lamps and mirrors with frames gilded in the antique style. Everything has been designed to provide a stylish and colourful atmosphere, even if the tapestries may ultimately prove a bit oppressive to the faint of heart. The hotel has 54 rooms, with balconies for those on the 2nd and 5th floors. Unlike the bedrooms, which are all decorated very differently, the bathrooms are identical, with a very sophisticated brown marble finish. The hotel is equipped with free Wi-Fi access and the rooms also have a mini-bar, a safe, room service, and a television showing foreign channels.
