The dimensions of this hotel, owned by the chain, Aldemar, is impressive. Located in a vast park, it has 563 rooms in its building, cottages or bungalows. The accommodation is of excellent quality and the food is delicious. The hotel's guests can enjoy the numerous facilities and, of course, 39 swimming pools spread around the bungalows and inside the suites.
You may guess, as its name suggests, the Olympian Village is located not far from... the sacred site of Ancient Olympia! It takes only twenty minutes to get there by car. More generally, it lies on the western coast of the Peloponnesus, which is an island, and the most important part of Greece since the construction of the Corinth Canal, separated it from the mainland. It takes a little less than 4 hours to get to Athens on the highway which runs along the northern coast. Otherwise, you may pass through the centre of the country and cross its small mountain villages.
The accommodations located in the main building or in the bungalows, are worthy of the hotel's standing and are equipped with satellite television, telephones with direct international dialing, a balcony or a terrace overlooking the sea or the garden, a bathroom with a bathtub and a hair dryer, a fridge and a mini-bar, a safe and individually controlled air conditioning.
The hotel's premises are truly immense. It has a part organised as a club (Olympian Village) and a luxurious part (Royal Olympian). It takes several minutes to cross from one to the other. And yet, if you walk at a quicker pace. The main building, built in 1967 and fully renovated in 1999, houses a total of 89 rooms, on only one floor (but there is still an elevator!). An additional building with fifty rooms was built in summer 2003, and, in 2004 a thalassatherapy centre was added to the complex. The park is dotted with more than 350 bungalows. Thus, the entire complex includes 563 rooms. Since 2004, the Olympian village has a thalasso centre, which is very well equipped.
In order to cater for everyone staying at the hotel during high season, the architects have made things very large. No less than four restaurants, including a buffet, serve guests Greek or international cuisine of excellent quality. The main restaurant has a capacity of 1,000 seats! You can also dine in the gastronomic restaurant, the gourmet restaurant and the beach bar.
Finally, there is a beach worthy of his name (2,625 ft), which is not so common, at least in mainland Greece. The sand is fine and you can walk around without fear of rocks protruding from beneath the water. This is the perfect place to relax, have a swim or indulge in the joys of water sports.
Due to its imposing proportions, the Olympian Village is actually a town within a town. You can easily live in autarky there during the whole length of your stay. Nevertheless, considering the cultural richness surrounding it, you will miss something...
Animation
During the day, an animation team organises activities every half an hour and a show every night starting at 9:30 PM. A kid's club is provided for children aged 4-12 years and is open from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM to 7 PM. A mini disco is specially reserved for them between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM.

The undeniable advantage of the Kalogria Beach is its beach. Certainly it is unique in continental Greece. Several miles of fine sand, bordered by a splendid pine-wood, a protected natural reserve of numerous species of birds. As for the hotel, it is a classic hotel-club, built on the beach and along an of the sea that goes into the forest. The rooms and the bungalows have the simplest decoration and amenities, but the combination is more than pleasant. You will not be disappointed.
The Paladien Long Beach is one of the few hotels in continental Greece to offer activities such as scuba diving, because many coastline sites are protected and reserved for scientific and archaeological studies. It must be noted that it lies on the northwestern coast of the Peloponnesus, just across the Gulf of Corinth.
