This tourist hotel is located between the sea and the mountains. With no great charm, it offers an exceptional view, not far from the town of Patras.
The Rodini Beach is located on the coast in the northern Peloponnesus, 20 minutes from Patras. Athens airport is 125 miles and Araxos airport is 28 miles away. Psythapyrgos is a small fishing village. Located between sea and mountain, the hotel has a comfortable ambiance and is a good strategic stopover.
The big rooms of the Rodini are quite impersonal in terms of their decor, which is sketchy, and the furniture is a bit time-worn. The standard rooms are clean and they have enough space to add a bed for a third person. They each have a large closet, a small desk with a mirror, television (satellite), a refrigerator (empty, but stocked when requested) and telephone. The bathrooms are tiled and the majority have a bathtub (otherwise a shower), a telephone, personal skin care products, a hair dryer and toilet.
The white façade of the Rodini Beach is relatively ordinary. The single building has 90 rooms, all overlooking the swimming pool and the mountains or the sea. The living spaces are a little dark and outdated. However, the restaurant opens onto a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the magnificent panorama.
The restaurant of the Rodini Beach offers three different services. Its terrace opens to a view of the sea and the mountains of the mainland. Breakfast (between 8 AM and 10 AM), lunch (between 1 PM and 3 PM) and dinner (between 8 PM and 10 PM) are served as an open buffet, focusing on both local and international cuisine. The restaurant can accomodate up to 200 people indoors and outdoors. Two bars are also available, one beside the restaurant and one by the swimming pool.
The beach of the Rodini hotel is private, long and narrow. Isolation from the crowd gives it a great advantage of quietness which can be enjoyed on the east coast. The water is clear.
The Rodini Beach hotel is open all year round. It is a good stopover point for a sightseeing tour in the region of Patras, between the road of the monasteries, small coastal villages and the seaside area.

The undeniable advantage of the Kalogria Beach is its beach. Certainly it is unique in continental Greece. Several miles of fine sand, bordered by a splendid pine-wood, a protected natural reserve of numerous species of birds. As for the hotel, it is a classic hotel-club, built on the beach and along an of the sea that goes into the forest. The rooms and the bungalows have the simplest decoration and amenities, but the combination is more than pleasant. You will not be disappointed.
The dimensions of this hotel, owned by the chain, Aldemar, is impressive. Located in a vast park, it has 563 rooms in its building, cottages or bungalows. The accommodation is of excellent quality and the food is delicious. The hotel's guests can enjoy the numerous facilities and, of course, 39 swimming pools spread around the bungalows and inside the suites.
The Paladien Long Beach is one of the few hotels in continental Greece to offer activities such as scuba diving, because many coastline sites are protected and reserved for scientific and archaeological studies. It must be noted that it lies on the northwestern coast of the Peloponnesus, just across the Gulf of Corinth. The hotel itself is very pleasant, with beautiful and spacious rooms, although simply decorated, all with a splendid view onto the sea.
The Florida Blue Bay is a small hotel where one can comfortably stay in a friendly ambiance. Even if it is not anything unique, the reception, the panorama and the serenity make up for it.
