The Vijitt is a total delight and its idyllic setting makes it the ideal place for honeymooning couples and romantic breaks. The welcome and level of service are second to none and the only downside of the place is that the beach is not really suitable for bathing in all seasons.

The Vijitt is on the east coast, 25 minutes from the town of Phuket and 40 minutes from the Patong area. Allow around 45 minutes to reach the hotel, 27 mi away.
Of the 92 villas, the 13 pool villas with their own private pool deserve a special mention, along with the 4 seafront villas. The decor makes use of a combination of Thai materials and more modern features, creating an understated and sophisticated style in a space characterised by refined lines and warm browns and reds. As for the bathroom, it is fit for a king, with a large bathtub as well as an outdoor shower, and sea views for the luckiest guests. All the hospitality products come from the local region too. If you bring your laptop, you will be able to connect to the Internet in your room, free of charge.
Open in November 2008, this resort, with its 92 villas, is a haven of peace on the south-east coast of the island of Phuket. The villas are almost entirely built of local materials and their subdued colour scheme helps them seamlessly blend into their surroundings. The setting of the resort is a verdant park full of rubber trees, palm trees, tropical plants and a wide variety of fruit trees, all facing the sea. The spa here, which is comprised of 4 huts housing a private jacuzzi and a beauty salon, located in one of the villas near to the reception, uses biodegradable and environmentally-friendly local products. Activities are organised all day long at the kids' club, with slides and a swimming pool especially designed for children outside and all kinds of board games and games consoles inside. If you enjoy taking exercise, the view from the gym is certainly not going to dissuade you from using it!
Food and drink
As in most Asian countries, breakfast consists of a number of hot meat and fish dishes. However, the Vijitt also prepares fresh fruit cocktails on request, as well as waffles and all sorts of omelettes. The pool-side restaurant, Savoury, is open all day long and the Baan Vijitt prepares Thai cuisine and if you wish to dine in a more private setting you can eat in your villa, choosing from the Thai and barbecue dishes on the menu or even ordering a seafood platter.
The hotel beach, like the nearby Rawai beach, is not really suited to bathing, but it is long and fairly wide, with picture-postcard fine sand and turquoise blue water.
The villas are spread over the property, whose sloping ground means a chauffeur is provided to drive you around in a golf buggy: all you need to do is call from your villa and he will pick you up in a flash.
One of the vastest hotels in Phuket for its accommodation capacity. Not favourable to privacy, of course, but the Kata Thani compensates this weakness with a real asset: being almost a monopoly on the nice beach of Kata Noi.
The Sawasdee Village is a very lovely small town hotel combining charm, calm and comfort. Ideal for couples looking for tranquillity, its incredible conception is a pleasure to be seen and a guarantee of change of scenary.
With incontestable features - a golf course, a very high level of service, accommodation of very high category - , the Banyan Tree imposes itself without difficulty as one of the most luxurious establishments in Phuket.
The Anantara Phuket Villas boasts truly peaceful, serene surroundings, and is the kind of place you'd come solely to relax. It consists of a series of villas with a private pool; you really would be hard-pressed to find a better place to get away from it all. The staff is also very attentive and the service personalised. Although the majority of the clientele is made up of couples, children are also welcome; there is even a special club for them. The complex faces northwest, so you'll get to enjoy some beautiful sunsets...
Here is the kind of hotel where you think to spend peaceful holidays, quietly sat on your terrace or on the beach with a good book... The Trisara opened in November 2004. It is then a beautiful hotel, isolated from the rest of the island but especially from the rest of the world...
Opened since 2002, the Evason Phuket is a quality establishment. The hotel extends on a property of 158 acres. Families will be happy to know that the hotel offers a children club. And couples will have space for their privacy...
The Sala Phuket was definitely one of our favourite hotels in Phuket. This splendid establishment is a true haven of peace, both in terms of its architectural qualities and in terms of the tranquillity it offers. It's the perfect love nest for couples, but the hotel also welcomes children, although there is no entertainment on offer. The standard rooms, called the Balcony Rooms, intentionally come in limited numbers. This is for good reason, as it would be a shame to come here without enjoying the superb villas with their private pools. The Sala Phuket opened in 2008 and has many successful years to look forward to!
The Movenpick Karon Beach of Phuket is open since 20th July 2007. It is
the former Crown Plaza. The establishment is composed of big living spaces
where guests are not crammed. It has the biggest children
club on Phuket island: families will be seduced!
The JW Marriot hotel is one of the biggest infrastructures in Phuket. This luxurious hotel combines a big quantity of equipment, quality services and impeccable comfort in a nice well-ventilated setting.
