The Rodon is housed in a large 4 storey L-shaped building perched on a rocky promontory, and although rather ordinary in appearance, it also looks clean and new. Built in 1985, it is surrounded by a thuja hedge and large pine trees that bring a nice touch of intimacy to the place. Fitted with brown tiled flooring, the lobby may be very spacious but it is also a little dark. Natural materials, such as stone and wood, feature heavily in the decor, so don't expect these to be the most imaginative of surroundings. The gardens, on the other hand, are very pleasant indeed, with their variety of aromatic herbs, vines, and fruit bushes, in addition to well-kept, fresh looking lawns. The hotel's swimming pool is very large so you'll be able to have a good swim without worrying about anyone being in the way. A set of stone steps lead to the sports area, which consists of tennis courts and a huge basketball/handball/football pitch. The hotel also boasts a small fitness centre complete with whirlpool bath, single-sex saunas, massage rooms, and a gym, all of which are impeccably clean.
