Opened in 1994, the Lanzasur Club has 228 bungalows and was renovated in 2013 when it became the Splashworld Lanzasur in the TUI travel group brochures. Part of the Canarian Relaxia hotel group, the Lanzasur Club has been given the Splashworld Hotel label, reserved for hotels with a water park. This one is particularly impressive. Included in the all-inclusive package, the Aqualava Lanzarote Waterpark has five big water slides with varying levels of difficulty (two of which you go down with rubber rings), a wave pool, a lazy river with rubber rings, and an aquatic playground with a giant octopus and a bucket that pours water onto children at regular intervals. The water park is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm (6:00pm in summer) and also has a restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire park. The front of the hotel is very well laid out and is a friendly size, with three swimming pools (including a heated pool and a children's pool) in the middle of a circular building where the communal areas, reception, the bars, and the restaurant are found, meaning everything is within easy walking distance. The lawn and the palm trees create green spaces but it's not exactly a jungle either. In short, it could do with some more vegetation. The sun lounge is equipped with blue deckchairs, beige canvas parasols, showers and a bar.
