The Pointe Vénus has only 54 rooms, which guarantees peace to customers. All the rooms have a front view on the lagoon, except for junior suites which are oriented towards the garden. The room's surface ( 44 m˛ at least ) offers a sober and fancy decoration and a large balcony with a teak garden furniture : you will certainly appreciate these details that make the rooms very pleasant. The furniture is made of dark wood topped with bamboo inlays. The bathrooms have a shower, a hairdryer and a basket of welcome products. Air conditioning, a fan, a tea / coffee kit, a minibar, telephone, television and a safe are added to the room's amenities. The family rooms ( 6 in all ) have in addition a kitchenette, as in the suites that also offer the comfort of a jacuzzi bathtub.

Open in 2005, the Pointe Vénus is the newest hotel in Rodrigues. Its architecture in the shape of blocks rising on 1 floor covered with sheet metal roofs offers an elegant colonial style, which is reminiscent of some hotels in Mauritius. It is the favourite address for those who want to stay in a high standing setting. The reception area, with a visible wooden framework, overlooks a long pond that leads to the swimming pool, the bar and the restaurant. You can laze around on the sun lounge overlooking the bay of Port-Mathurin, even if the view is somewhat spoilt by the telecommunications antenna located down below. The swimming pool, quite spacious, measures 20 m in length and 15 m in width. All the relaxation equipment is provided : teak deckchairs, canvas mattresses, sunshades and towels.

The catering service is particularly good at the hotel, both in terms of offered dishes than spaces where tables are set up. A crank terrace overlooks the swimming pool and a dining room with visible framework offer buffets. A gazebo ( a mini-pergola hosting a table ) overlook the lagoon for couples staying on a honeymoon or VIP. The buffet served for breakfast, quite varied, is composed of hot and cold dishes ( scrambled eggs, beans in tomato sauce, cold meats, cheese, bread, fresh fruits and pastries ). At noon, an a la carte service is offered on the terrace. In the evening, the main restaurant offers alternately buffet and fixed menus. The gastronomic restaurant "Délices de Vénus" allows you to enjoy typical flavours of the Indian Ocean : spicy fried lobster, fillet of sea bream crusted with herbs, smoked marlin millefeuille with cabbage confit.

The hotel does not directly overlook the beach : the sea is dwn below the hotel, some 150 metres away. To enjoy the fitted out beach, you should walk approximately 500 m, up to Les Cocotiers hotel, which is part of the same group. However, the water sports base, which serves the two hotels, is located at Pointe Vénus.
For the children, a very well equipped mini-club ( with a swimming pool ) is open every day.
