There are 39 rooms (36 rooms and three luxury suites) at Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague; of these, 12 superior rooms (35m²), 23 premier rooms (40m²) and three suites measuring between 58m² and 78m². All accommodation is immaculate, spacious and tastefully decorated. Besides the usual amenities, the folks at Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague have upped the ante with Bang & Olufsen entertainment systems (including a special Buddha Bar music library), Nespresso coffee machines, remote-controlled drapes and stunning bathrooms with high-tech Japanese Balena 8000 toilets.
The décor is consistent with the rest of the hotel, boasting sumptuous furnishings in shades of deep red and burnished gold. The attention to detail is evident everywhere; from the delicate lampshades with Czech crystal to the evening turndown service with fresh orchids and chocolate treats, the Taittinger champers in the mini-bar, or the L'Occitane toiletries and flat screen televisions in the bathroom. The overall feeling is one of downright luxury and therefore the highest levels of comfort. The rooms make the perfect romantic hideaway, so if you're there with your darling, you probably won't want to leave!
Should you be lucky enough to be in a suite, you'll enjoy a massive bathroom with Jacuzzi. Meanwhile the bathrooms in the superior or premier rooms are also spacious with free standing 'musical' bathtubs. Each bathroom, no matter the category of room, is awash in a pearly red, pink and orange mosaic tile decoration and finished off with an impressive mosaic dragon.
The only shame is that due to its city centre location, there are no spectacular views from the hotel rooms, with many backing on to inner city apartments and streetscapes. But there is enough eye candy inside the rooms to distract from this fact. Also, the many switches and remote controls for various lights and curtains etc can be overwhelming; sometimes, simple is best.
