This is an extremely charming hotel located a few minutes' walk from the city centre. The comfort, both in terms of facilities and decor, of the bedrooms and the cuisine served in the restaurant make this an ideal base for discovering the charms of Quebec.

    Location 6.14 /10

Located on Grande Allée, the Champs Elysées of Quebec, the hotel is surrounded by various fashionable restaurants, bars and a few trendy night clubs.

    Accommodation 7.70 /10

The 30 bedrooms combining authenticity and modernity are extremely charming. Most have wooden flooring, a red brick wall and an electric fire. The colours of the bedrooms create a chic and modern atmosphere. With high-tech equipment consisting of a plasma screen, a DVD player and an alarm clock, there is nothing lacking in these rooms to make the most of the long winter evenings. Ten of them even have a whirlpool bath in the bedroom and a shower in the bathroom. Others have a bathtub to replace the shower in the bathroom and a hair-dryer, together with hospitality products. The only problem with these rooms is the soundproofing.

    Overview 7.20 /10

This family-run hotel opened its doors in 2002. The charming and opulent building, classically inspired by the very high-class Grande-Allée, welcomes its guests in a small hall where charming receptionists greet you with a smile. There is a small entertainment area (with a computer and television) behind the reception where you can sip a drink bought from the coffee and soft drink dispenser and watch the comings and goings. The bedrooms are spread over three floors that can only be accessed by the stairs and which are located on long narrow corridors decorated in bright colours.

    Food and drink 8.20 /10

The Rivoli, which is accessible from the hotel and the street, serves tasty and original Mediterranean and local cuisine (stuffed pears, snails, etc.), and is superbly decorated. This is where it gets its good reputation from! The decor is relaxing, with red or stone walls, flat screens, exposed beams, white leather seats and a large fireplace open on both sides. As far as atmosphere is concerned, businessmen invade the premises from 12pm and in the evening they come back with partners or friends. Average age: 30-45 years. As for the prices, allow around £7 for a starter and £14 for a main course.

    To know

Free Wi-Fi Internet connection is available in the bedrooms
    Parking for around £8
There is a locker in reception to keep your jewels safe (even though Quebec is not dangerous)
The Quebec Carnival parade, which takes place every year in February, passes in front of the hotel.
