The Petra Segreta Resort has a single restaurant that is open from 7:30 am to 10:00 am for breakfast and 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm for dinner. The former is served as a buffet in the main room and consists of an excellent and substantial selection of fresh and local products, including cereals, fresh fruit juice, and fruit; everything you need for a proper breakfast, which can be enjoyed out on the restaurant terrace while you admire the panoramic view over the Golfo Aranci. You will never tire of the sight of the mountains and the sea. As usual, you barely notice the other guests here. You have the feeling of 'escape' almost, as you let the scale of the surroundings wash over you. Come nightfall, dinner is served on the terrace under soft lighting. The chef, who is also the owner of the property, prepares a series of his own concoctions which are, unsurprisingly, typically Italian. He likes to innovate, and his cuisine reflects this, combining traditional ideas with more modern flavours, which he tries, tastes and tweaks until he is happy with the result. Ultimately, the originality is more impressive than the quality of the cuisine, which is reasonable but unfortunately not fantastic. The strong point, apart from the setting, is the fact that the menus change daily, offering several choices and even more in the summer. For dinner, as for breakfast, the products are fresh and of good quality.
