Located on the seafront, the Arenal hotel is a nice place to live in with its rustic style and its two pools. It is a better choice for couples rather than families.
At the city limit on your way out, and at the entry of the San Antonio. The hotel is located 9 miles from the capital Eivissa and 14 miles from the airport, about 25 minutes by car.
Old-looking, the rooms of the Arenal hotel are otherwise pretty spacious. All are equipped with bathrooms with bathtubs, they offer ventilation, a safe (for a fee), a direct telephone line and a large balcony. Half of them offer a direct view of the sea. In return, they do not have TV nor a mini-bar. Their rustic furniture emphasizes with their general plainness.
Built in 1966 and renovated in 1999, the Arenal hotel offers 131 rooms, spread out in a 3 level building with served by an elevator. The clients are offered a beautiful outdoor pool by the sea and another covered and air-conditioned pool. The hotel is definitely distinguishable from others due to its rustic red velvet furniture, its large central chimney, its pastoral pictures, its tapestry and its ironworks. The decoration is actually warmer and more effective than that of the other hotels of this class in Ibiza.
Fresh and shaded, the restaurant dining room of the hotel has a capacity of up to 350 guests. Its chairs covered in red velvet, its candlesticks and chandeliers made of wrought iron confer it a rustic aspect evoking French rustic hotels. The buffets usually offer 6 starters, 3 side dishes and 6 different desserts for diner, since the restaurant works in half-board. Snacks are available for lunch.
The hotel was constructed on a small beach equipped with deckchairs and sunshades for rent. Moreover, the Arenal is located close to the main beach of San Antonio. Rather large, the latter offers fine sand and clear water. Not very windswept and of a normal difference in height, it is however a little noisy due to its closeness to bars and restaurants.
The hotel offers you an animator for sportive activities like gym and stretching. Open from April to October, it is mainly visited by English-speaking clients.
