At the city limit of San Antonio, right when you arrive from the road connecting the sea resort and the capital, facing the Marco Polo hotel. The hotel is located 200 meters away from downtown and the beach, 9 miles away from Eivissa, the capital and 12.4 miles away from the airport, about 25 minutes driving.
With an average area of 15 m², the rooms offer a view of the swimming pool or of the surrounding countryside, in other words, nothing extraordinary. They offer a direct telephone line and satellite TV with 18 channels. All have a balcony fitted out with a dry line ( except for the individual rooms), a safe with key ( 3 euros a day), individual air-conditioning and a refrigerator. Their cozy decoration features an ochre tiled floor, orange curtains, modern wall lamps and pine wood furniture. All the bathrooms offer a bathtub equipped with a handle and a flexible shower , a bidet, separate toilets and welcome products ( combs, handkerchiefs...). You may obtain a hair-dryer from the reception for an average fee of 5 euros. You can also ask for an ironing table and iron against a fee of 5 euros.
Built in 1969 and renovated in 2006 ( when the 2nd swimming pool was built, as well as a multi sport field and a children club), the hotel Invisa Es Pla offers 175 rooms for an accommodation capacity of 334 people. This large pale pinkish building, divided into 2 sections forming an obtuse angle, rises up on 5 levels served by 2 elevators. Its large hallway, embellished by large low tables made of pinewood and by comfortable armchairs, offer a pleasant spirit to the hotel where all the common areas are air-conditioned. Two large rectangular swimming pools 1m70 in depth and open from 8 am to 8 pm are located outside on each side of the building. They are surrounded by a solarium offering deckchairs, sunshades, showers and toilets. The two swimming pools are fitted out with a pool for kids of 20 inches in depth. Towels are available at the reception for one euro a day. An outdoor stage welcomes the entertainment and shows around each swimming pool. A 3rd stage is located inside of the building, in case of bad weather. The children can also have fun in a playground located in the middle of a nice flowery garden.
The decoration in the restaurant room, located close to the swimming pool, is definitely modern-looking, but despite everything it looks like a cafeteria. As a general rule, the buffets offered to the clients include 4 different hot dishes. Water and wine are included in the package. A small important detail: the bread is homemade and you can also taste delicious gazpachos. A gala meal is served once a week. Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am, lunch from 1 pm to 2:30 pm and dinner from 8 pm to 9:30 pm. You can toast glasses to the holiday at the swimming pool bar from 10 am to 8 pm and up to midnight at the living room bar.
200 m away from the hotel, the main beach of San Antonio, Reguero beach, is usually overcrowded in high season. Despite everything, its water remains pretty clear and the sand pretty clean. Located very close to the marina, this windswept artificial beach is pretty noisy, because of the proximity to the crowded road that goes along it. Here you will find deckchairs, sunshades, toilets, showers and a nautical sport club.
The Invisa Es Pla hotel welcomes an average of 40 % French clients, which is definitely more than the average of the local hotels, mainly visited by English and German people. Member of the Spanish hotel group Invisa Hoteles, the establishment was just renovated in 2006. Don't miss out the flamenco show on Thursday nights! You can surf the Internet at the reception area ( 1 euro every 10 minutes) thanks to two computers equipped with a web cam, USB outlets and memory cards.
