The 23-storey Shilla Seoul stands proudly at the edge of the park in a building housing 4 restaurants, a bar, a pastry boutique, a very well equipped fitness centre with over 250 machines. But that's not all! There is also health centre complete with coaches, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, an indoor driving range, a whirlpool bath, a sauna, and last but certainly not least, the minor detail of indoor and outdoor running tracks! The Guerlain spa (open 7:00am to 10:00pm) consists of 10 private lounges, a relaxation room, and even a hydrotherapy shower. A less often seen Clinique de Paris anti-ageing centre is on the 3rd floor and a dental and cosmetic health centre is on the 5th floor, offering a variety of oriental and sleep-related treatments. If you are of a more practical mind, however, you may be interested to know that there is also a bank, a travel agency, and a photo studio on the 6th floor, as well as a selection of 20 or so shops within the hotel that are open from 9:30am to 7:30pm. Those coming from abroad will be delighted with the duty-free area, which consists of 3 floors of shops and is housed in an adjacent building just a 5 minute walk away. As you will have realised by now, its facilities are certainly one of the hotel's strong points, as are the welcome you'll receive and the service they provide. They really do pull out all the stops here to make guests' lives easier. The beige and white decor is very striking and incorporates clever lighting and an interesting use of materials.
