The path up to the front of the hotel is one of the longest of any hotel however the journey is made easy on the eye by the immaculately kept gardens along the way. The main lobby takes the form of a rotunda and its centre piece, surrounded by imposing floor to ceiling pillars, is a lotus-shaped pool and fountain above which is an atrium allowing light to pour in. Seating clusters are arranged around this and the reception, behind which are some of the smartest staff in Sharm, is to the left as you walk in. Out to the back is a terrace flanked by a pub on one side and a café on the other and at the end is a view over one of the hotel's swimming pools as well as the Red Sea. Speaking of swimming pools, the hotel has five of them, which include two just for kids. The most impressive (not only at the Reef Oasis, but of any hotel) is the heated pool which wraps itself around the entire back of the hotel. The relax pool is built on two levels and boasts a waterfall, but no children are allowed in the vicinity. The third pool is the leisure pool, complete with water slides, and just like the other two, there is plenty of space for everyone both inside and around the pool with sufficient sun beds and parasols. There is also a platform just above the beach, shared with the honeymoon suites, which is home to three jacuzzis. The Pirate's Club and it staff take care of the kids throughout the day and even has its own swimming pool and play area. Whatever the time of day, there'll be activities, shows or live music put on by the animation team. Babysitting is also available at a charge. The hotel's wellness facilities are quite something. Aside from one of the finest gyms in Sharm (with a great view by the way), Reef Oasis boasts a spa run by Sothy's offering every treatment you can think of in 15 treatment rooms. In addition you've got a professional beauty salon and hydrotherapy with salt water. A doctor and clinic are also to be found on site. For relaxation of a different sort, wind down with a book in the library or challenge someone to a game of pool. Sports facilities include tennis courts, table tennis, volleyball, basketball and football, while a host of water sports can be practiced on the beach. A small shopping arcade features boutiques selling jewellery, souvenirs, books and supplies with a pharmacy and a bank also at your disposal. The entire complex is kept immaculately with blooming flowers at every pace while the staff of the hotel are willing and efficient.
