The hotel welcomes its guest in a rather overdone setting, which becomes overwhelming in the entrance hall: a dome ceiling and columns around a shiny marble-clad central area, with a few wicker chairs and coffee tables. The interior of the complex can be seen through the rear bay window, as well as the swimming pool and light grey units housing the rooms.
The establishment has been organised in a manner to make everyone happy: music and entertainment for the younger guests till 5:00pm, after which the stage is lit in the theatre for small after-dinner shows for an international audience. The night ends at the strangely well-lit nightclub with its roaring music; open from 11:00pm till 2:00am, and an outdoor section. The area reserved for children is well equipped. It includes a shallow swimming pool with easy access and games for children of all ages. The hotel has made a point of not forgetting its younger guests. The mini-club is open daily for children aged 4 -12. For your business meetings, the Regency also includes a conference room with a capacity of approximately 200: unfortunately, the carpeting and an imposing lamppost make the poorly lit room all the more stuffy.
