On Parade Road, 655 ft from the centre of Saint-Helier. The ferry terminal is 1,640 ft away. The airport is 5 miles away (15 min transfer).
There are 36 rooms in total. They have no balcony. In terms of view, they over look the street or the courtyard. The street is not busy so you will sleep peacefully in any case. There is no extra space in the rooms which are designed for 2 or 3 people. Size of a standard double: 270 ft². Above all, the bathrooms are inspired by those of certain urban hotels with a shower, basin and toilets in a cupboard-sized space. The decor is extremely simple and a bit old fashioned: upholstered bedheads, glass wall light fittings in bell shapes. There is a small-screen television. No safe in the room or minibar. However, there is a kit for tea and coffee, and a telephone. Hairdryer in the bathroom.
The hotel opened in 1989, in an old Victorian 2-storey building. A beautiful facade, but it is rather small. The reception is in the corridor opposite the entrance, there is a reading room on one side, and the bar and restaurant on the other. Quaint atmosphere in the reading room, but more modern in the bar, with its red-brick painted walls, large leather armchairs and geometric pictures hanging close to the counter. No pool or garden, just a small courtyard to the rear of the building, where there are a few tables and chairs for having a drink.
The decor of the restaurant and bar was redone in 2006. The atmosphere is very coloured, with red dominating in the bar, and yellow in the restaurant. Slatted blinds in the windows, light wood furniture which evokes that of a Mediterranean tavern, a range of photos of balloons on the wall: it all opens the appetite. Continental buffet in the morning, British specialities served at the table as well as hot beverages. In the evening, make the most of the "early bird" offer by dining at 6 pm:: 2 courses for £10, 3 for £12.50. You can also eat later (set menu or a la carte). But be aware that the flavours in the dishes are less vibrant than the colours on the walls: cold meats, pastas, chicken stroganoff, salmon cream.
The hotel is not built right on the seashore. To get to the beach, choose the closest one: that of the Havre des Pas (2,296 ft), or one of the most beautiful: in Saint-Brelade (4 miles). Use public transport rather than a hire car. Bus times are available at the hotel or the tourist office, in Liberation Square, opposite the marina.
The Pomme d'Or is one of the best-located hotels in Saint-Helier. Perfect for a weekend's shopping (Queens and Kings Street are 5 minutes away on foot) or for a relaxing week between town and beach, because the hotel is not far from the seafront.
The Queens is a lively hotel, with few rooms, and well-maintained facilities. It is neither in the town centre nor by the sea, but it makes up for its lack of location with access to the pool of a partner hotel 820 ft away.
Here, you can eat well, sleep well in comfortable rooms, and enjoy the services of a large hotel group. Managed by the chain Best Western, the Royal Hotel is close enough to the town centre to be within easy reach of Saint Helier by foot.
The Apollo is a town hotel close to the centre of Saint-Helier (which can be reached on foot). In comparison to the others, it also offers a fun pool with slide. Children will love it!
This hotel is fine for a weekend all year round. There is a courtesy shuttle for shopping in the town, you can relax around the covered pool, and you can make up your own programme of spa treatments.
This is one of the best hotels in Jersey for its traditional charm, central location and restaurants, which are as popular with holidaymakers as with the locals in Saint-Helier.
Here is a hotel which we recommend if you want to come to Jersey to get away from everything... and have a couple of excursions or an afternoon on the beach. Because the hotel - if you are willing to rent a car - is not far from Saint-Helier and the seaside.
No unnecessary luxury, rooms with basic level of comfort - but the sea view is breathtaking and several attractions can be reached on foot: the promenade and pool of the Havre des Pas, marina, the shopping streets in Saint-Helier.

This is a great hotel for a weekend break at any time of year. No need for a car, because it is a stone's throw from the shops and restaurants in the little village of Saint-Aubin. Also close by: Portelet Bay and Saint-Brelade beach.

A calm strip of water (in summer) surrounded by an abundance of ferns and oaks: a hotel occupying a prime site by the sea. There is no surrounding noise, even during high season. The Water's Edge is one of the rare seaside hotels in Jersey where you can be truly remote.

A family hotel by the sea. You can go with young children, the rates and accommodation are designed for them.
