The guest rooms of the InterContinental are spread across three buildings, and all of the common areas are located in the semi-circular main building which encircles the two main pools. Here, you will find both the bar of the circular lobby, the 'Cross road', and its terrace with a view of the Red Sea, as well as the buffet restaurant. The large patio, where shows are performed in the evenings, and the bar called Arches, open till 2:00am, are also adjacent to the main building. Both the lagoon (filled with sea water) and its very pleasant Lagoon restaurant-bar, and the children's club, are little further away.
Although all three buildings are imposing, the architecture is rather successful, their façades covered with the arches of the large balconies of each room. This hotel, built in 2006, is in excellent condition, right down to the finest details. In terms of the detail paid to facilities here, hats off to the paddling pool sheltered from the sun by vellums and surrounded by comfortable chairs for parents keeping an eye on their children. For drinks, no less than 7 bars will give you the opportunity to vary your choice of beverage: sitting in the pool at the Splash, by the beach at the Reef (particularly pleasant when the sun is setting), or in a well-being atmosphere at the Oxygen, etc.
Sports enthusiasts will find two tennis courts, a squash court, a miniature golf course, a volleyball court and a beach football pitch at their disposal.
