The impression left by the grand passageway leading from the road to the hotel's entrance is not lost upon entering the lobby. A large bar sits under its tall glass roof and opens onto the swimming pool and the sea. Vast, white and full of light, the lobby is representative of the rest of the hotel. Moreover, standing at the heart of the establishment, this is where the wings lead off to the 424 guest rooms and suites divided over 3 floors (apart from the 66 bungalows). Most of the communal facilities are located in the surrounding little pavilions.
The Mövenpick stands on an imposing piece of land with vast lawns, an artificial river and a long esplanade, at the far end of which flies the Egyptian flag. Between the main building and the beach there is a large outdoor pool with a paddling pool for children, 3 whirlpools and a pool bar. There is also a second pool set back slightly between the bungalows. The well-being centre (with its 6 massage rooms, a beautiful relaxation room, a sauna, Turkish baths and smiling staff) and the very well-equipped children's club (TV, video games, play areas, 2 friendly English-speaking activity leaders) can be found at the back of the establishment. To the delight of the more sporty guests, the hotel also disposes of a grassy football pitch and a perfectly equipped gym, but no tennis lessons are provided! An indoor pool lets those who are sensitive to the cold take a dip indoors underneath its glass roof in the winter. You will also find a games room here, as well as evening entertainment in winter.
The entertainment begins in the middle of the afternoon (by the pool) with 9 activity leaders proposing various activities. For cocktail hour, you can find drinks at both the lobby and pool bars (the second one is less popular).
