The 489 rooms of the Grand Hotel go from the standard to the suite, all offering a very good level of comfort regardless the category. Covered with fitted carpet, they are spacious and magnificently decorated with beautiful Chinese calligraphies on the walls and have a splendid decorated and painted ceiling. They include two separate queen-size beds, two armchairs and two beautiful wooden desks. The equipments provided to make your everyday life comfortable are numerous : pocket torch, free safe with electronic code, handkerchiefs, plasma screen satellite TV with 26 channel, discreet air conditioning, minibar fridge with supplies for tea and coffee and of course a telephone. A plug allows ADSL connection to the Internet, but this requires a fee. The cleanliness and soundproofing are impeccable and a room service is ensured from 6 am to midnight. The window offers a splendid view of Taipei, the 101 tower and the Keelung river thanks to the high position of the Grand Hotel. The bathroom is spacious, clean and well decorated. They include a bathtub equipped with a grip (a bit high) and a flexible shower, non separate toilets, hairdryer, fancy welcome products, telephone, scale, slippers and kimonos to relax after your bath. Two bottles of water are available free of charge. Constituted of a big room and a big lounge, the 8 big suites benefit also from a big panoramic terrace and a marble bathroom with a glass sliding door, mosquito net, separate shower and gilded taps.
