The Melia Costa del Sol unique restaurant is a large room with warmer decoration than the rest of the hotel. It can welcome up to 250 people, 350 in summer time since the assembly rooms are open. Even if the tables are quite close to one another, you will still be able to enjoy some privacy. In high season, the restaurant is open for all three meals, served as buffet. In low season, the snack-bar, ''La Pora'' that is prosperous and highly respected (Paseo Maritimo bordering the coast), offers a good alternative for lunch or dinner with its menu of cheap specialities (about 7 euros each, 6 pounds) and its selection of international dishes.
The buffets are appetizing and very well presented. You can notice a special concern for the variety of the dishes offered. For dinner, you will have the choice between raw vegetables, soups, cooked meats (inclduing foie gras) and mixed salads. The dishes are formed by at least 3 fish selections, 3 meats and a dozen of different garnishes (rice, pasta, vegetables...). The desserts are more classic: ice creams, fresh fruits, fruits salads, creams... However, once a week, a buffet of traditional desserts is offered.
