The Alga hotel has 323 spacious rooms, decorated in a modern style. The blue tones of the carpet, the bedspread, and the curtains, and white tone of the walls are prevailing. The rooms are modern and comfortable and feature a television, a telephone, air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a safe. Some rooms have a balcony. In some rooms, there is a sofa that can be converted into a bed for 2 children or one adult. The bathrooms only have a shower, welcome toiletries, a hair dryer, and a heater. They are sufficiently spacious, which is rare for hotel bathrooms.

The hotel is composed of a charmless 5-storey white building. Built in the seventies, it was renovated in 2001. The lobby is spacious and bright. The large terrace of the piano bar allows guests to enjoy the view. There is a small sitting room with a large screen television nearby. Swimmers have a choice between an indoor pool and a sea water outdoor pool. There are several smaller pools for children.

the Alga hotel is lively. An entertainment team offers numerous activities, during the day and in the evenings. Activities offered include aerobics, aquagym, petanque, badminton, volley ball, etc. In the evening, cabaret shows, disco dances, and concerts are organised. The entertainment team includes 7 members who speak English, German, and Italian.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style in the restaurant. A local and international cuisine is served there. The immense dining room is air conditioned, but lacks decor and conviviality.

There is a pebble and sand beach at the foot of the hotel. The sea is turquoise and nice, but the beach is crowded. Deckchairs and parasols are available for rent. The beach is accessed by stairs.
