Of the 32 guest rooms at the hotel, 9 have a frontal sea view, 8 have a side sea
view and 8 overlook the gardens. The 7 suites on the first floor, meanwhile,
overlook the sea and have palapas roofs. The ceilings are also impressively
high at their peaks. All of the rooms have the same layout and the same
amenities with the exception of the suites, which are more private and consist
of two separate parts on different levels. On one
side, there's a double bed or king-size four-poster bed with veil in the suites,
whilst on the other there's a lounge area furnished with rattan tables and
chairs. The rooms are lovely and bright, with a floor area of around 40m² and white-rendered walls.
The rooms, which are made up of a mish-mash of materials, are not exactly
spotless and there doesn't seem to have been much thought put into the
decor. You will find all the basics here, though, including individual air-conditioning,
rather worn bedding and a telephone (switchboard from 7:00am to 11:00pm). Only the suites
have a safe, and the decor in these units is also far more coordinated.
Out on the balconies, meanwhile, you'll find hammocks that can accommodate two people,
whilst the mosquito nets that hang at the windows do little to prevent insects
from getting in. The bathrooms are pretty average in size and are tiled from floor
to ceiling. They come with a bathtub, a large mirror and a
hair-dryer.
