Sorolla Palace is one of the best hotels in its category in Valencia. The common areas and the guest rooms are characterised by their comfortable appearance and amount of natural light. Furthermore, those who like to be high up can have a view of the city from one of the rooms on the 14th floor and sporty types can take advantage of the gym.

Located next to the city's convention hall and business district, the Sorolla Palace is some 9 mi from the airport, or 20 minutes by car.
This large modern tower has 271 guest rooms that are comfortable and fully-equipped. We obviously recommend that you ask for a room on one of the higher floors to have the best aerial view of the city. If you like music, you'll be happy to know that there's a radio in every room. Do not waste your time looking for the control knobs, they are in the bathroom, which itself is decorated in a traditional style. The carpet, curtains and the bedspreads are all in light colours. There is a mini-bar, a flat-screen television, a desk and a comfortable armchair in every room. The superior rooms are located in the corners of the tower, which means they afford an even better view and hold three rooms. We liked the original style of the wash basins in the bathroom.

This is one of the oldest traditional hotels in Valencia, and the facade and building are magnificent. The service is decent and the geographical location ideal, but the hotel's classic and rather unoriginal interior is a bit of a disappointment.
A good reason to stay at the Catalonia Excelsior hotel is its location, at the heart of Valencia. Simple, small and with few amenities, it could definitely do with some modernizing.
This 3 star hotel located in the Campanar region is not particularly noteworthy for its originality, or its modernity for that matter. The hotel has been open since 1984 and the guest rooms bear obvious witness to this. Having said that, it does have two advantages, namely the swimming pool and the rooftop terrace, which offers fine views across the town.
The rating of the Kris Cónsul de Mar as a 4 star hotel is surprising considering the size of the rooms and the available services. The building is very pretty and well located but it could definitely do with some refurbishment.
All at once simple, convenient and well placed, the Ad Hoc is a pleasant 3-star hotel. With their high ceilings, the rooms on the second floor are very spacious. The mix of wood and brick proves particularly attractive.
This 3 star hotel in the famous American chain is rather basic and lacks any real charm, but it does have the major advantage of offering families a free stay for children under 12 year sharing a room with their parents.
The Barceló Valencia is ideal for those who like functional modern decor and also has the advantage of being located opposite the City of Arts and Sciences. With regards to the facilities, the size of the guest rooms and the spa are particularly noteworthy.
A modest urban hotel with good deals for families, including a free stay for the first child under 12 years of age. Also on the plus side, the hotel has a swimming pool. In general though, the facilities here are basic and the guest rooms rather rustic.
The Palacio Marques de Caro is a charming place located in a 19th century historical palace built on the ancient surrounding walls of Valencia's old town. We are at the heart of the city's history in this boutique hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms and a restaurant offering a superb setting and good value for money. This is one of our favourites places in Valencia.
Located in an authentic Valencian seaside resort, the Las Arenas Hotel (the only 5 star luxury hotel in the region) has an amazing spa, both in terms of its history and of what it has to offer. Also worthy of mention are its state-of-the-art fitness centre and its restaurant, the Sorolla. It only seems natural that these fantastic assets have earned this hotel a spot in the prestigious Leading Hotels of The World.
In Valencia's city-centre, the Hospes Palau de la Mar is a boutique hotel set in a 19th-century building. We really liked its restaurant surrounded by a terrace and a garden, as well as the spa offering 5 different specialities. An ideal place to stay to discover Valencia in a pleasant setting where well-being and gastronomy are part of the offer.
Located in Valencia's old town, in a square away from the crowds but just a stone's throw from the cathedral, the Ayre Hotel Astoria Palace is a prominent hotel in the city thanks to its Art Nouveau-style Room Service Lounge Bar renowned for its concerts and tapas. Other attributes of this hotel include the breakfast served on its panoramic rooftop terrace, the spacious and comfortable guest rooms, and the free Internet access.
Far from the old town and the sea but facing the convention centre, the Melia Valencia Palace is clearly an establishment aimed at business travellers. The rooms here, which offer views of the city, the sea and the mountains, are spacious and comfortable, and there is a spa and a free Wi-Fi connection. It is the best place to stay in the city if you are coming on business.

At the heart of the old town of Valencia, just metres from the cathedral, the SH Ingles is a boutique hotel with the charm of a 15th century palace having belonged to the Duke of Cardona. It offers a good restaurant and comfortable and elegant guest rooms. The facilities are limited but this hotel is perfectly located for exploring the city.
The Holiday Inn Valencia is a great place for a city break in Valencia. You will have to walk a bit to reach the metro, the old town, the beach and the City of Arts and Sciences, but you will be able to enjoy a good breakfast here and be very comfortable. We recommend that you come between May and September, as the rooms can be a little cold in winter and the rooftop swimming pool is closed outside of this period. You will also appreciate the relaxed lounge bar on the sun terrace on the top floor.
