Things to see in North India

Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are some of the most well-known regions in India. Bordered by the legendary Ganges river, they are the site of spectacular gatherings that are popular with travellers. In addition, the Himalayas, the highest mountain range in the world, offer magnificent landscapes and attract the most courageous mountaineers. The monuments in Northern India are also must-sees. The Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are just some of the marvels that will remind you just how rich in culture this part of India is. As for the gastronomy, it is divided between vegetarian cuisine (more than 80% of Indians don't eat meat) and tandoori dishes, which consist of meat that is spiced then grilled with yoghurt and rice.
