Naples Bay is undoubtedly the most spectacular Italian bay. For an excellent view, get to Miseno, some 13 miles west of Naples. The small fishing village is at the far end of the peninsular closing the bay; there are small coves there that are good for bathing. If you go to Cumae you will have a view over the bay from the ruins of the ancient town. Climb the temple of Jupiter found at the top of Acropolis, where you will be met by stunning panoramas.
In the heart of the Bay of Naples lies the village with the Castel dell'Ovo. The island is known for its seafood restaurants.© Tanialerro / 123RF
