Discover The desert Kuwait

Kuwait has no mountains or watercourses. The country is uniformly flat and dominated by the desert, tilting gently toward the Gulf. It is separated from the sea by the Ahmadi chain, a massif with an altitude below 150 m. In spring, it becomes a beautiful meadow, particularly in Wadi al Batin where it becomes covered by an elegant carpet of yellow camomile. During this same period, camel races are organised in the desert. In the west of the country, a large, moderately deep valley catches seasonal waters and marks the boundary with Iraq.
