Discover Museum-apartments

The museum-apartments that appeared in the 60-70's are one of Latvia's cultural wonders and an attempt at preserving intellectual and artistic heritage. One of the most famous museum-apartments belongs to Krisjanis Barons, leader of the young Latvian movement and a relentless collector of Da´nas. Another museum-apartment in Riga's centre, which belongs to Andre´ Oupite (1877-1970) the 'Latvian Zola', leaves visitors with the sensation that the writer has only just gone out. Two other museum-apartments relate Lenin's arrival to the capital.
