Discover Leptis Magna Libya

Leptis Magna, the amazing and immense Greco-Roman site was a Phoenician port and is presently considered the largest and best preserved dead city in the world! This former rival of Rome, also classified by Unesco, began its life in the year 600 BC. A visit to the amphitheatre, the basilica, the forum, the Hadrianic baths, the port, the museum and the hunt baths with their virtually untouched wall paintings provide a true picture of the city. It is a magical place set to the splendid backdrop of the sea.
