Grand'Rivière

At the most northern point of the island, the road suddenly ends onto a village facing the ocean. Here you are in Grand'Rivière. This fishermen's village, stuck between the ocean and Mount Pelée, is surprising with so much diversity in landscapes. Forest, waves, cliffs, rivers and houses combine to create a beautiful setting. People come from all over the island to swim in the river flowing down the mountain. Additionally, many hiking tracks start from there.
