A small village in the south-east, Sainte-Anne is well known for its pottery, as well as its grilled lobster. There is a beautiful yellow ochre church, wooden houses and a few richly coloured gum tree boats moored along the banks. Its beach is known to be the most beautiful, along with Les Salines, and it does deserve its reputation.
Remember to protect yourself from the sun if you are going to the beach. Sunscreen and a hat are highly recommended.
Be careful when snorkelling not to touch the black sea urchins or corals.
