Surfing or kite surf boarding can be practiced on the island, usually on the west coast, by Tamarin or along Plage du Morne, south west of the island. The best time is between April and September. Take your own gear or rent it out on the spot. There is one for example on the southern coast, next to the hotel Berjaya.
