Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
The main attraction at Yellowstone National Park are the wolves. You can track them all year round, but the best time to go is during the winter when there is snow. The contrast between the wolves and snow and the lack of leaves makes it easier to spot them. During the winter the wolves and their prey tend to roam the Lamar Valley. If you are new to the whole tracking experience, don't worry, the guides at Wolf Tracker will help you out.
Wolves nearly became extinct in the US due to hunting, but thanks to a reintroduction program in the 1990s, the species was saved. To add to the tour, wolves are not the only animals that you can find at Yellowstone, you can also spot bison, cougars and mountain goats.
