According to the company website, Expocart is the UK's largest provider of products for exhibitions and events, and they're looking to expand into the consumer market and fair industry starting 2020. As part of their market research, they're seeking a Christmas Fair Tester to visit Christmas markets across the UK.

The Christmas Fair Tester is responsible for trying out Christmas markets all up and down the UK. The ideal candidate must be "Christmas-obsessed" according to the job description and available to travel across the UK to attend the country's most popular markets such as those in Birmingham and Edinburgh, all for 50 an hour plus some spending money while there. You can also bring a friend!

Besides enjoying themselves, the Christmas Fair Tester will be required to take quality photographs and observe the goings on at the markets according to a checklist. They'll be required to record how many vendors and stalls were at the market, what type of signage was used, what was for sale, etc. At the end of their visits, the tester will create a 750-word write-up of their findings. There is a slight catch: the Christmas Fair Tester will only be paid to be at the Christmas market for one hour, which means that the tester will only receive 50 per market visited. Additionally, there's no word on reimbursement for transport costs or how much the spending money will add up to. The write-up also does not seem to be included in the pay.

But if you're still undeterred, members of the public who are over 18 years of age and in possession of a UK driving license are invited to apply. It goes without saying that an insatiable love of Christmas is also one of the requirements.

As of writing, there is no application deadline, but it's likely that applications will be closed on or around December 6.
