Photographer Rob Whitworth captured the dazzling imagery of Dubai through hyperlapse earlier this year, taking the speedy filming to a whole new level. This time, commissioned by Turkish Airlines, he has managed to capture on video the infectious spirit of the Turkish capital.
"Istanbul: Flow Through the City of Tales" has won people's hearts by showing a raw side to the bustling city, from its beautiful port and ancient buildings to sociable men enjoying a game of backgammon on the street.

Portraying the magical, romantic and inspiring side of Istanbul, the video flies above buzzing market places and famous spots where people amble through taking in the sights. The footage shows the powerful Galata Tower from an exceptional angle and the beautiful blue mosque, both inside and out.
Whitworth said he spent about six weeks filming the hyperlapse video, sometimes waiting for weather improvements to create the perfect shots. After filming was completed, the team gathered for around 278 hours in post-production, editing and speeding up the video.
